What’s “L’Art de Dire”?
In French, L’Art de Dire means “the art of speaking”, but it goes far beyond learning words. It's an invitation to express yourself, to play with language, to feel and experience French in a playful, immersive way.
Through theater, games and interactive events, L’Art de Dire transforms learning French into a lively, creative and joyful adventure.

Behind l’Art de Dire… there’s me, Julie.
A bit of an artist, a big dreamer, and deeply passionate
Since I was very young, theater has been my playground. I grew up on stage with my local theater troupe before attending drama school in Paris. Later, I joined a Parisian troupe, then stepped behind the scenes as a director.
Theater has always allowed me to fully express myself, to find my place—especially when words alone weren’t enough.
Curious and committed, I also studied law to stand up for the causes I care about: the environment, animal welfare, and all the voices we don’t hear enough.
Life eventually brought me to the United States, where I discovered the joy of teaching in my own way: through play, emotion, performance, and spontaneity.
Running workshops at the school where I work reminded me of my earlier years as a youth leader—always inventing games, building sets, and creating little scenes to spark laughter and wonder.
That love of play and creativity has never left me. I truly believe in the power of imagination and in the magic of simple, joyful moments—especially when they’re shared.
What I love most is sparking a smile, stirring an emotion, and creating those real, genuine moments… when learning happens without even realizing it.
L’Art de Dire is the common thread through it all: a heartfelt project to share the joy of speaking, playing, and dreaming—together.
